Netherlands and Berlin based artist Tiny de Vries loves to illustrate her life. She grew up in a small Dutch farming village in the warm surroundings of a creative, open minded and free spirited family. She has always been an artist and an explorer, having lived and studied art in Indonesia and traveled around the world discovering new cultures and dreaming of a peaceful world in harmony with nature.

​Tiny's roots made her what she is today. She finds inspiration in nature, travelling, experiencing different cultures, her love for handcraft, books and art. Her work is intuitive, positive, poetic, bohemian and feminine. 

She loves her work, the freedom it brings and the endless flow of creative and positive energy.

​She graduated from the Academy of Art in 1995 in Utrecht. She founded the studio ‘Tinystories’ and works in her poetic and light-filled atelier for International clients on paintings, illustrations & collage art. Experiencing the artwork of artist Tiny, is like stepping into a dreamlike world.

​Her paintings and illustrations are hand drawn, using different techniques and materials including ink, gouache & acrylic on old paper, linen and vintage bookpaper. Her work has been displayed worldwide, in private collections, used by interior & jewelry brands and media. Her dream to share her paintings and illustrations turned into a lovely project, that she is really passionate about, and 'Tinystories' limited edition, hand-numbered & signed art prints are now available in her webshop and in selected stores.
